About Us
The Embassy of Jamaica in Mexico City is the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica that is responsible for the promotion and protection of Jamaica’s interests in Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama. The Embassy works to strengthen Jamaica’s bilateral relations and advance bilateral cooperation with these countries. The Embassy is dedicated to supporting and empowering the Jamaican Diaspora and ensuring that all Jamaican nationals within our jurisdiction have expeditious access to high-quality consular services. Mission Statement
The Embassy of Jamaica in Mexico City works to fulfil the mandate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica in strengthening bilateral relations between Jamaica and Mexico as well as with the seven (7) Central American countries under our jurisdiction: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Increasing bilateral cooperation and bolstering trade and investment with these countries are among the main priorities. The Embassy also prioritizes safeguarding the interests and welfare of Jamaican nationals residing in and visiting Mexico and Central America.
